1.4.3. Step 3: Preserve the Timing-Closed Root Partition

Follow these steps to preserve and export the timing-closed root partition.
  1. Click Assignments > Design Partitions Window.
  2. For the root_partition row, specify root_partition.qdb as the Post Final Export File.

  3. To compile the design and export the partition, click Compile Design on the Compilation Dashboard.
