Description
Application Note 257 "Designing with 1.5-V Devices" was removed from the Altera website because of an error with one of the voltage regulator examples stated in the document. The LCT3405A voltage regulator was incorrectly cited as a possible regulator for Cyclone® and Stratix® devices although it is actually unable to supply sufficient current to power up either FPGA.
Application Note 257 has been replaced by the "Designing with 1.5 V Devices" chapter in the Cyclone and Stratix Handbooks.
