What is new or different with the Intel® Graphics Command Center compared to the Intel® HD Graphics Control Panel? The Intel® Graphics Command Center has been rebuilt from the ground up with gamers in mind. Ease-of-use was central to our thinking. So it has been reconfigured to make things much easier to discover. We have included more helpful education information into the software, so people can more easily find out what settings do.
What are the system requirements to be able to use the Intel Graphics Command Center?
  • 6th Generation Intel® Core™ platforms or newer
  • Windows® 10 version 1709 or higher
  • Windows 11* version 21H2 or higher
    • Windows 11* requires 8th Generation Intel® Core™ platform or newer.
  • Minimum Windows® 10 DCH Intel® Graphics Driver version 25.20.100.6618 or higher
Why should I use the Intel Graphics Command Center? The Intel Graphics Command Center has more features compared to the previous offering, combined with an intuitive user interface and a slim design. The Intel Graphics Command Center also makes it simpler for you to adjust your display and video settings, as well as tune your settings for games. It allows you to do a lot of things that the standard Windows* settings panel won’t allow. It also has improved Help that clearly explains what the settings actually do.
Can the new Intel Graphics Command Center co-exist with the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel? Yes, but you will be encouraged by the Intel Graphics Command Center to uninstall the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel unless you need a feature available only on Intel HD Graphics Control Panel.
Is the Intel Graphics Command Center only important for gamers? No, it has many useful features in Display where you can manage all displays connected to the system. It includes a video where you can see a live preview of video processing when adjusting the settings.
Is the Intel Graphics Command Center collecting the user’s personal or system usage information? No, there is no user personal information collected from the Intel® Graphics Command Center.
Can the Intel Graphics Command Center download new game optimizations automatically? Yes, the Intel® Graphics Command Center auto-downloads new game optimizations once created by Intel, allowing the user to toggle in-game optimized settings off/on with the touch of a button. Intel plans to continue adding new games to optimize.
Do you plan on still maintaining the Gameplay.intel.com website in the future?Yes!
I scanned my computer and it’s not showing all the games I have installed. Why? The Intel Graphics Command Center tries its best to locate these games at its usual installation locations. But some games can’t be detected due because they have a separate launcher (for example, Steam*, Epic* and others). The Intel Graphics Command Center can still detect some games in the launcher but not all. We're adding discoverable games to our catalog regularly. There are also times when a game gets updated and some configuration in games has changed so it becomes undetectable with our existing parameters. This will require an update to the Intel Graphics Command Center which will again make this game detectable. However, you can always add games manually via “+” button (Add Games).
Can I use the Intel® Graphics Command Center to submit a support ticket to Intel Customer Support? Starting with Intel Graphics Command Center build 1.100.2765.0 you can submit a ticket to Intel Customer Support by launching the application and by clicking Support > Report a Bug or Issue
What happens if I try to force install the Intel Graphics Command Center on an older system? (Is it possible?) You probably don’t need to force install. You should just be able to install it from the Windows Store*. We highly recommend that you use the latest Intel® graphics driver with the Intel Graphics Command Center. All features may not work with older Intel graphics drivers. Find the latest Intel graphics drivers.
What if I like the old Intel HD Graphics Control Panel layout instead? Can I change it back? Unfortunately, this is not currently possible. Intel would like you to provide feedback on any features that you would like to see changed or added to the Intel Graphics Command Center at the Intel Graphics Community Forum.
Does this new Intel Graphics Command Center gather information on me or my system? If so, what? The Intel Graphics Command Center does not collect personal information on a user or system. Data collection is limited to anonymous button-click counts only, to be used to improve user experience and learn where to add additional features.
Since this is an early access release right now, does Intel plan on adding more features and functionality to the Intel Graphics Command Center in the future? Absolutely! Please join the Intel Graphics Community to give us feedback on what you’d like to see incorporated in the future!
How can I install Intel® Graphics Command Center if I have Windows® 10 Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) and no access to the Microsoft Store? Refer to Intel® Graphics Command Center on Windows® 10 Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC).
