Industrial Ethernet on an Intel® Cyclone® 10 FPGA
Demo video taken at SPS 2019 of Arrow's Industrial Ethernet bus system implemented with an Intel® Cyclone® 10 FPGA. Showcases low cost Cyclones for industrial protocols that can be enhanced with security and additional features.
Helmet and Glove Detection
Basler's SPS 2019 Demo shows detection AI implemented at the edge to detect PPE usage by employees in designated areas. The Demo employs a trained neural network operating on a Movidius Neural Compute Stick 2.
CAN-To-TSN Ethernet Gateway
Cast's SPS 2019 demo of a CAN-To-TSN Ethernet Gateway with an Intel® FPGA displays its low-latency, bidirectional communication between CAN bus ports and one TSN Ethernet port. It also allows CAN networks to co-exist and cooperate with TSN networks with little added latency.
Siemen's Edge Defect Detection Solution
Demo from SPS 2019 showcasing edge defect detection using OpenVino™ on a Siemens i7 IPC. In this demo, a spinning drum of 500 images is used to represent products on a production line. A camera then feeds video of the spinning drum to the IPC where inference takes place. With this solution, an FPGA can be added as an accelerator.
Edge Intelligence Solution with Intel® FPGAs
Video from SPS 2019 showcasing EXOR's edge intelligence solution where a Intel® Cyclone® 10 FPGA is used with an Intel Atom® processor to create GigaSOM for real time edge analytics.
Edge Intelligence Demo with Intel® FPGAs
Video from SPS 2019 showcasing EXOR's Edge Intelligence Demo with Intel® FPGAs where an edge-automation node performs orchestrations and edge-cloud interface for smart factories. This demo features devices across the Intel portfolio, including Cyclone® V SoC FPGA, Intel Atom® processor, and Intel® Movidius™ VPU.
Low-Latency Networking from NEC Using an Intel® FPGA
Demo video taken at SPS 2019 showcasing NEC's new low-latency networking technology, Wireless ExpEther, on an Intel® Cyclone® V FPGA. The video demonstrates Wireless ExpEther's stable and low-latency performance versus conventional WiFi.
MAP Segmentation with FPGA DNN IP
In Reflex's SPS 2019 demo, MAP segmentation and DNN inference are achieved using Intel DNN IP and an Intel® Arria® 10 FPGA. They analyze a video stream and identify planes, vehicles, ships, storage, tanks, and more from an aerial view.
High Performance TSN Control-Command
SCS's demo exhibits TSN Control-Command with a robust, low latency, and TSN compliant implementation for mission-critical applications on an Intel® FPGA. The Demo features a control-command core module hosting a TSN card that integrates an Etherfly Switch to drive three end-systems.
Brownfield Security Gateway Demo
Watch SecureRF's (now Veridify) SPS 2019 Demo. Quantum-resistant security methods combined with the Intel® Max® 10 FPGA create a security gateway that can be implemented on deployed IoT endpoints.
Secure Device Ownership Demo
Veridify's demo from SPS 2019 show their implementation of secure device ownership with its Device Ownership Management and Enrollment (DOME) platform running on an Intel® Max® 10 FPGA.
Edge Compute for Robot Controls
In TTTech's Edge Compute for robot control demo from SPS 2019, TTTech uses an Intel® FPGA in their Nerve system to connect a robot to a cloud-based management system for real-time workload consolidation and the ability to create and deploy workloads remotely.
